Soil Assessment and Remediation
William L. Going & Associates, Inc. is prepared to conduct soil sampling that may be included as part of a “due diligence” assessment or as a separate, confidential survey.
A Soil Assessment is designed to determine if a contaminant has had significant impact on a client’s property. William L. Going & Associates, Inc. is prepared to perform surface sampling with hand tools, grid sampling with Geoprobe equipment, or soil boring installation with truck-mounted drill rigs. We are available to co-ordinate with a NYSDOH-certified laboratory to analyze for volatile and semi-volatile organic compounds, selected metals, pesticides, herbicides and PCBs. The results of our sampling and analyses are presented in an easy to read and understand report. We can work directly with a client’s attorney in order to preserve attorney-client privilege.
William L. Going & Associates, Inc. is prepared to work on the client’s behalf to insure that environmentally sensitive projects, i.e. underground storage tank removal, are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner, while limiting a client’s liability. William L. Going & Associates, Inc. is prepared to act as liaison between client, contractors, and local, state, and federal agencies, while keeping projects on budget and satisfying applicable regulations.
If soil contaminants were encountered, William L. Going & Associates, Inc. is capable of developing a Remedial Action Plan that would include various technical options and cost analyses, in order to quickly and effectively resolve the situation and to reduce the client’s liability.
